Rifka Graduation - Kind of...

Friday, May 20, 2016

Hey Friends and Family!

So I graduated!! .... like a month ago. It wasn't really a big deal since I finished my last few semesters online and we didn't fly out for the commencement ceremony. But, nonetheless, I got my bachelors degree! I got it from BYU-Idaho, the major being in Marriage and Family Studies.

Well, I had been joking about getting my diploma from the mailman in my cap and gown. The day finally came when it arrived, and Tyler and I ended up joking around and actually took pictures of me getting it from the mailbox in the cap and gown from his graduating ceremony... so below is what resulted from that.

We're pretty cool. We know how to make our days fun! Thanks Tyler, for helping me have a special celebratory moment!

Thanks for reading! Until next time,

Annie's Baby Blessing

My sweet little baby had her baby blessing this week at church! It was such a tender event. Some really sweet things were said during the blessing, and I'm so happy that most of our family was able to attend. Here are some shots we were able to get afterwards.

This little girl. Gosh. She has us wrapped around her fingers. She's my smiley, cuddle-bug baby. As corny as this is, I have caught myself crying on multiple occasions just from the overwhelming love I feel when I look at her. People always describe it, but I just didn't understand until I had a little girl of my own.
The little smile (and tongue)! She totally has my heart!

It was such a special day to be able to bless her. Tyler and I both feel like that was the icing on top of this entire experience of having a baby and like she's officially part of our little family circle now. We also love that we are able to start this whole journey with her with Heavenly Father heavily involved.
A huge thanks again to everyone that came or that was involved. It meant so much to us, and I know Annie will feel loved throughout her life knowing that there are so many people that care about her. We love you all!

Tyler's MBA Graduation

Monday, May 16, 2016

University of Arkansas Graduation was this weekend, and Tyler was part of the cap and gown crowd! He has been working hard the past two years on his MBA. It was so much fun to have family come out and celebrate and all of this hard work. We had my parents, his parents, his grandparents and his twin brother and his wife out visiting us. It seriously was a blast.

Let me just say how proud I am of Ty. He has so many different things on his plate, but he's handling everything so gracefully and is putting in full effort all around. Between starting a new position at work, church assignments, getting his masters degree, becoming a Dad and being my husband, he's a busy guy. I don't know how I lucked out with such a ambitious, devoted, patient and loving guy, but holy cow am I grateful! I love you, Ty. I am so proud of you!

Calling the Hogs!
We're so glad his parents and grandparents could make it out! We felt so loved this weekend!
Annie originally had on an adorable Razorback onesie... but of course she had a
blow out during the ceremony. Thankfully we had a backup. ;)
After graduation and our photo shoot, we met up with the rest of the family at Whole Hog BBQ in Bentonville. Not only was it a blast, but it was DELISH!
His brother, Travis, and our sister in law, Cami, stayed at our house for the entire week. We had a fun play day in Branson, hitting up Ripley's Believe it or Not, Go Carts and Lamberts Cafe. It was awesome! We also had a birthday celebration for the boys and their dad. They all have birthdays this month. It was a good time!
Tyler's Dad spent the week with us as well. He helped us with some big projects around the house. It really was so great to spend time with family. Below

Thanks for checking in with us and our busy lives!

With Love,
