Summer Life!

Hey Friends and Family!

Life has been crazy busy - especially for Tyler! Tyler is finishing his final semester of grad school (next week is finals and then he's done! YAYYYY!!!!!!). He also has church and work on his plate, not to mention his little family at home that bid for his time too. Poor guy! He's so ready to be done with school so that he can have that little pie piece of time back for his busy schedule.

Well we got a new car! The little Rio is struggling, so it was time to buy a new car. We got a Hyundai Veracruz. It's awesome! Here's little Annie introducing it for us ;)
So after getting a new car, first thing we did was take it on a date for some shaved ice of course! Starting this car off right! ;)
We had a good Fourth of July. We watched fireworks from the balcony of Tyler's work. Here are some pictures from that day, as well as just everyday life. Enjoy!

Annie and her cousin Lucas, having nap time at Grandma Gorden's!

We were able to go on our first family vacation last week to Gulf Shores! It wasn't as relaxing as I was building it up to be (ahem... thanks Annie...). However, it was still a great trip and I'm glad we were able to do it! We even took Max. He absolutely LOVED the beach. On top of that, everyone around us loved playing with him and throwing balls into the ocean for him to retrieve. It was a great trip!

We hit up Barnacle Bill's for dinner the first night. I have never heard of this place before, I just love the name.

The next day we headed back to the beach for round two. Annie got a little tired early on, so we headed back to the hotel, cleaned up and took the ferry over to Gulf Shores (we were on Dauphin Island).

This is me holding onto my baby for dear life with an iron grip. For some reason I was getting crazy anxiety at just the idea of her falling into the water. Eek. I still get anxious just thinking about it even sitting here safely in Arkansas!

After we got to shore, we headed over to Lulu's! That place is a party! We enjoyed perusing the gift shop and arcade. After our two hour wait, we were happily seated to eat by the water. It was a great night.

The next night we hit up Bubba Gump Shrimp before heading back home. I LOVE this place. I will never get over how yummy the crab legs are. YUMMMM...

Before hitting the road, we tried to snap one last picture at the dock by our hotel. Annie's head is a blur, but oh well. Good memories right?
On our way home, we stopped and stayed the night at my Grandma's house at the halfway point. The next day, before finishing the trip, we stopped at my Grandma Gorden's house so that she could meet Annie for the first time. It was super cute seeing Annie meet her Great-Grandma Gorden.

This last week my brother, Nick and his family came to town. We have been partying together all week. Here are pictures from our pool party, a behind the scenes shot from family photos, and a picture from my sweet nephew, Noah's, baptism.

Well, that's all the big stuff that's been going on lately! Thanks for taking the time to catch up with us! We love you all, and hope you're having a wonderful summer!

Love,
The Jensens
