Hope you all have had a wonderful summer! We have been busy, which was actually a surprise to me. I thought this year would be bland since we have a new baby, but I was wrong. However, I'm not complaining. I love to travel, and thankfully babies don't put a stopper on that.
A few weeks ago, Annie's Grandpa Gene came out for a long weekend and stayed with us. He lives in Seattle, so it's always a treat when we get to spend time with him! We had a good balance of lounging around as well as getting projects done. He also took it upon himself to have the honor of giving Annie her first taste of a cookie. Not going to lie, it was adorable.
Also, we had a fun time snuggling up with Annie. She's getting bigger and bigger, and her personality is starting to shine through. She loves to laugh and be kissed! Check out this cutie with her Dad:
Lastly, it was Grandma Michele's Birthday, so we had a little photoshoot to send to her since she didn't get to come with Gene on the trip. PS Michele made this dress. AMAZING right!?
After a fun weekend with Grandpa Gene, Annie got to head over to my Mom and Dad's house for the week while Tyler and I headed to California. After going on the Gulf Shores Beach trip with Annie, we realized that vacationing with kids isn't really vacationing. So we had a redo for our couples time and headed to SoCal.

We spent the first day in Los Angeles. We started off the day at this cute little French Crepe restaurant in Long Beach. We ate there on our honeymoon before we started our cruise and loved it! It was still just as cute and delicious now as it was then.Afterwards we headed to Hollywood. We snagged tickets to the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. It was cool! They didn't let us take any pictures in the actual studio, but I did manage to take some before and after.
After Jimmy Kimmel, we headed Santa Monica Pier. We loved walking along it! We even took a ride on the Ferris Wheel, which was a bucket list item for me to ride the Santa Monica Ferris wheel. It was definitely a fun little date day!
Riding the Ferris Wheel!
The second and third day while we were there, we hit up Oceanside and La Jolla. We loved the beach time, In-n-out Burger, BJ's Restaurant, and visiting the San Diego Temple, which is where we got married! Two days after getting home from San Diego, I headed over to Texas with my mom. My Grandma, Great Aunt, and some of my mom's cousins were there, so we joined the party!

After Texas and California, it was nice to be home for Labor Day Weekend! It was chill, but it was perfect. We rode bikes, binged on Netflix, and cuddled with this cutie.
Hope you all have had an enjoyable summer too! Love you all! Until next time,
Love,
The Jensen's
Adorable pictures!! I can't wait to see her and hold her in person...I guess next summer...just about the age she'll have stranger danger :).
