Laura Jane's 2nd Birthday!

Happy Birthday to our Little Laura Jane!
Lulu turned two last Tuesday! I'm not sure that she realized it was her birthday. I put streamers up on her door and all over the stairs, and decorated the fireplace. So I think she knew something was different about the day.

That morning we went with some of our friends to a new indoor playground. It was awesome! The girls loved playing all over the slides, little pretend stores, dance areas and climbing all over the equipment. They LOVED it. And they loved playing with their 4 little friends. All the kids were playing so hard I didn't even get a picture - which means it was a success!

After playing with our friends, we met Daddy for lunch at Chick-fil-A. Laura's Great Grandpa Barrow sent her a gift card to Chick-fil-A for her birthday. His Grandpa senses are in check, because Annie and Laura LOVE that place. We had an awesome lunch, with birthday ice cream cones included, and then finished it up when Laura spilled my lemonade all over everyone except Tyler. (Lucky for him, since he had to go back to work!).
After naps, we went to the park while we waiting for Daddy to finish his workday. Max and the girls loved running around. Annie is obsessed with swinging, whereas Laura completely hates it. Kind of funny how different your kids personalities are.

After the park, we headed home and got some dinner and had our little family birthday party!

I totally forgot that we were out of candles, soooo, I improvised with one of our "3" year old candles. Sorry Laura. #momfail.
She did great at blowing it out all by herself!
Happy girl loves the frosting!
Annie girl loves her frosting too!

Everything I love in one picture!
"Stop kissing me mom and let me eat my cupcake."
 Present Time!
Notice her new purse from Grandma Susan. She would not take it off the rest of the night.
Annie struggled with the whole "these are Laura's birthday presents" thing...  But in other news, she was REALLY excited for her.

Birthday Hugs - it's hard for both girls to look at mom at the same time :)
New makeup from Grandma Susan!
Happy birthday sweet Laura girl! We are SO glad you are in our family. You make our lives better with your contagious smiles, sweeeeeeeet spirit, and independent personality.
WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Here's to being T W O ! <3
